The company was launched more than ten years ago by a group of business development and strategy professionals, and focuses in particular on developing markets, specifically Russia, CIS and Central Asia.
The company specialises in supporting local and international clients looking for an acquisition or disposal of assets, considering new market entry or developing existing businesses.
“A large proportion of our members come from developing countries, so it is immensely valuable to be able to draw on the expertise of specialists that understand the specific challenges and opportunities of operating in these markets,” said Ian Riley, CEO at WCA. “We are therefore especially pleased to be welcoming Greyco and its experts to our membership and look forward to working alongside them on many of the exciting projects we have planned for this year and beyond.”
Greyco’s team includes experts in strategic planning, business development, finance and human resources, as well as technical innovation and quarry management specialists.
“Our years of experience in the cement industry, as well as our own business model, have taught us that collaboration across borders and specialisms is one of the surest ways to achieve long-term success, and so we are delighted to be joining the WCA’s international community,” said Boris Kontsevich, managing director, strategic development at Greyco. “The cement, concrete and construction materials industries face many challenges, with environmental impact being one of the most pressing, but if we work together, I am confident we can develop and implement lasting solutions.”
