Formerly a cement distribution company, in 2008 Leader Beton launched a concrete products business after noticing a gap in the market.

The firm's new 16.9-tonne SDLG L953F wheeled loaders offer high performance and reliability. With high breakout forces and a well-designed 3.0 m³ bucket, these wheeled loaders are engineered for high productivity and give customers an excellent return on their investment.

The L953F is powered by a 162kW six-cylinder Weichai engine and features a rear-drive axle mounted to the rear frame and can oscillate 11 degrees, providing better stability and traction and extending their life by up to 50%.

The comfortable cab features a large curved front screen – improving visibility, safety and efficiency, effective air conditioning and ergonomically designed controls. A digital control panel provides real-time status updates, and single joystick allows easy operation of the loader arm and bucket.

"We have been working with SDLG distributor Elite Motors since 2013 and already have a few SDLG units on our site," says Irakli Mikeladze, sales manager at Leader Beton. "We really like this brand; the machines are high performing and complete tasks without issues. The new loaders are helping us to get the work done faster but still at the same high quality we pride ourselves on. We are very satisfied."

Operating out of one site in Batumi, the company produces close to 200,000m³ of concrete a year, a figure it is sure will increase following the introduction of the SDLG machines. "Our name may be Leader, but we are not the leaders in our market – we are third," says Dursun Mikeladze, founder of Leader Beton. "We don't hurry to release products, spending our time getting them right, in the hope that we can steadily grow our company. We have big plans for the future and are happy with the way that we are establishing ourselves in the industry."

Building concrete infrastructures is no mean feat, and with it comes a lot of responsibility. "By working with SDLG, we're able to offer our customers high-quality products, which allow them to get the job done properly and safely," says Zvaid Antelidze, general manager at Elite Motors. "Our new branch in Batumi allows us to offer a better service for the whole region of Adjara, and we hope that our latest delivery to Leader Beton will enable them to meet growing customer demand, to the highest standard."
