Tarmac adds app

868 Tarmac is aiming to improve the efficiency of ready mixed concrete deliveries in the UK with the launch of a new concrete calculator smartphone application. The company has said that app makes ordering product even easier by enabling customers to calculate the volume of ready-mixed concrete required for their projects.

Users can select the required shape and input the dimensions to accurately calculate the concrete volume they need and the order is placed by requesting a call back from Tarmac.

Tarmac national business development manager Geoff Fawkes said, “We know that time is precious for our customers, so we’re always looking for ways to help them be more time and cost efficient. Smartphones are now a firm fixture on all construction sites and our app gives customers quick access to a practical and hassle-free way to order ready-mixed concrete. The app provides customers with immediate guidance on volumes and enables them to quickly call Tarmac and place an order while on the move.”
