The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has made three leadership appointments. Rusty Fowler, president and CEO of Krone NA, has been elected to the AG sector board while Rick Johnson, CEO of Charles Machine Works, and Brian Rich, chairman and CEO of SmartEquip, are now part of the CE board.
Officers and directors provide strategic direction and guidance on behalf of all member companies for AEM action in public policy, market data and exhibitions, as well as technical, safety and regulatory issues and education/training.
The CE sector board aims to provide strategic and operational direction for the construction equipment sector of AEM while the AG sector board is formed with the intention of offering strategic and operational direction for the agriculture equipment sector of the company.
Dennis Slater, AEM, president, said: “We welcome our new directors and greatly appreciate their dedication to the off-road equipment industry. AEM’s success in helping its membership and the industry succeed in changing business conditions would not be possible without active member participation, and we welcome their knowledge and leadership.”
