Asphalt Inc has expanded its operations in Texas with two new lines of business under the assumed names of Lone Star Aggregates (LSA) and Line Star Paving (LSP). It will provide aggregate mining, asphalt manufacturing, and asphalt paving services and as part of a strategy to strengthen a foothold in the region.
LSA has announced two new quarry locations Florence and New Braunfels with a third permitted in Marble Falls. Asphalt Inc, has also added three plants in Florence and New Braunfels as well as Kerrville.
LSP has opened a new corporate office in Temple and has divided into South Texas, Central Texas and North Texas divisions that will be led by division presidents Allen Knox, Ryan Ohlendorf and Joe Naivar. Additionally, Asphalt Inc has appointed Dean Lundquist chief operating officer and Greg Morisey the president. Both will report directly to the CFO, Steve Spinn and CEO, Jack Wheeler.
Joe Naivar and Greg Morisey will become new members of the executive tram which also includes Ben Carroll, Thomas Playfair, Allen Knox, Ryan Ohlendorf, Dean Lundquist, Steve Spinn, Jack Wheeler and John Ramming.
