Chaney Enterprises has acquired Maryland-based PCS Concrete, including all five operational facilities and 40 employees.
Chaney says the deal pertains to a strategic reorganisation as Thomas Pittman, former owner and president of PCS Concrete, joins its executive team as maintenance operations officer.
He will be responsible for all of Chaney’s fleet and plant maintenance. Sharon Carr Pittman will serve as technical service project manager with Chaney Enterprises.
Francis ‘Hall’ Chaney, III, president of Chaney Enterprises, says: “The greatest part of this acquisition is the incredible group of people who are veterans of the industry accompanied with a vast amount of knowledge who are all joining Chaney.”
“We are primed and prepared to service new markets with our commitment to our communities, employees, and customers,” Hall Chaney adds.
The five PCS facilities are located in Annapolis Junction, Westport (Southern Baltimore City), Owings, Waldorf and Sparrows Point (Baltimore County).
