ConExpo countdown

ConExpo is getting closer and a host of manufacturers and equipment suppliers are gearing up for the big event.

It’s where every major construction industry is represented among two and half thousand plus exhibitors, on over two and half million square feet, and with more than 150 education sessions including asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, mining, utilities and more.

Here’s another tiny taste of what’s on offer...

Smiley Monroe is exhibiting for the first time in an outdoor booth showing its ‘endless’ conveyor belts and custom rubber parts – a core product offering for the North American market, where the company has continued to grow its exports to OEM customers in the mobile ‘portable’ equipment sector.

McCloskey Washing Systems latest crushing and screening equipment will make its debut at ConExpo with the much-anticipated launch of the Sandstorm 620 wash plant.
McCloskey’s stand space is on 20,000square ft of exhibition space along with a 3,200 square ft  hospitality and information pavilion.

Superior Industries, a US manufacturer of bulk material processing and handling systems, is expanding its line of Exterra belt cleaners with a new secondary model for straightforward, quick conveyor installations. The Exterra will debut alongside other equipment from Superior. “We’re excited to show the industry a lot of new products. We really work hard to be a solutions provider, to bring products to the market that solve a problem,” said Matt Wulf, Superior’s components operations manager.

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology will show its QJ341+ mobile jaw crusher, UI310+ wheeled impact crusher,  QE441 free-flow mobile scalper,  and Pantera DPi surface drill rigs.?“We’re driving innovation throughout our entire portfolio, from new equipment to ever-smarter customer services,” said Jeff Heinemann, vice-president - sales area USA for Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology.
“We are focusing on the numbers that matter, by conveying customer value and lower cost of ownership of the total Sandvik package. At Conexpo, we will showcase a compelling offering of products and services – all designed to benefit our customers’ bottom line in terms of increased safety and productivity.”

Terex Washing Systems will show its FM120-2G sand recovery unit, one of Terex Washing Systems most popular compact sand plants. The plant has the ability to produce two clean and dewatered sands on a small footprint. Terex. Oliver Donnelly, director, said: “'It really is an exciting time for TWS and we are delighted to use the ConExpo-Con/AGG platform to announce news on our product portfolio.”

And from the big names we can expect lost of new plant...

Caterpillar will present its machines, technology and customer support capabilities on display in two different exhibit areas totalling 60,000 square feet, the largest at the show. But it is not all about size; Cat Connect technology for machine control and monitoring will share the spotlight with the iron it enhances – ranging from a skid-steer loader to a 96-ton excavator. Eight Cat machines will debut at ConEpo and a further half-dozen recently introduced machines will be on display for the first time. The newest Cat machines to be displayed include excavators, wheel loaders, a dozer, an articulated truck, a telehandler and cold planers. Caterpillar will also introduce new remote-control technologies and connectivity technologies at the show.
