Doosan Construction Equipment will showcase a tool carrier wheel loader with a quick coupler and pallet fork as well as an excavator at World of Concrete 2019. The event will take in Las Vegas from 22-25 January.
The company says the DL200TC-5 tool carrier wheel loader is designed for loading and carrying and comes with a parallel-lift linkage system. The increased visibility down the centre of the parallel-lift arms is expected to allow operators to clearly see the ground, truck or work area in front of the machine when placing loads. Also, the parallel-lift linkage system keeps the work tool flat as it is lifted rather than rolling back.
According to Doosan, the machine’s hydrostatic transmission provides operators with more power, improved fuel efficiency and better precision while working. Operators can choose between three power modes – power, standard and economy – which adjusts the maximum engine rpm.
Operators can also choose from three traction modes – max, traction and S-Mode – to adjust traction force to match jobsite conditions for more efficient operation in digging, stockpiling and loading applications, the company adds.
A range of materials can be lifted, carried and placed with the pallet fork attachment – which is expected to help in a variety of construction applications and offers multiple widths and tine lengths.
Other features include:
- Open carriage: Provides good visibility for picking up and placing materials.
- Manual adjustable tines: Allows forks to be adjusted depending on material.
- Quick coupler mount only: Can be quickly attached and removed from machines equipped with a quick coupler, allowing the attachment to be used on multiple machines.
The machine is also available in a high-lift option for additional lift height and reach to more easily load materials such as cement into high-sided trucks.
Doosan will also exhibit the DX140LCR-5 excavator at next year’s event at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The machine offers a shorter tail swing and an extra-sturdy frame and reinforced superstructure. The machine comes with permanently sealed and lubricated track links, workgroup bushings and hard-wear disks to help improve realibility and extend service intervals.
A standard seven-inch LCD screen allows operators to monitor the excavator parameters while viewing the rear view or the side view camera image. Critical machine data appears next to the camera view while an available side camera, a split screen allows both camera displays to be viewed at the same time.
