May 26, 2020

The National Mining Association (NMA) has postponed this year's MINExpo International in Las Vegas until September 2021, as the Covid-19 virus crisis continues to disrupt the economy.

The NMA says it is working with its event partners to event partners to identify and secure the necessary exhibition facilities and hotel accommodations for the event next year.

New dates will be announced once the logistical arrangements have been confirmed, the show's sponsor adds.

MINExpo International showcases mining and minerals processing technologies as well as machinery and equipment for the non-metal mining processing industry.

It is held every four years at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The NMA is a trade association that represents the interests of mining before US Congress, the administration, federal agencies, the judiciary and the media.
