Mixing issues are on the agenda as Missouri gears up for its annual concrete conference

Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) is getting ready to host its annual Missouri Concrete Conference May 1-2 in the Havener Center on the university’s Rolla campus. Conference registration is $150 per person.

According to Missouri S&T: “Conference topics include evaporation retarders, mixture incompatibilities, the Eastern Missouri Pavement Consortium, mix monitoring during delivery using “VERIFI,” aggregate proportioning techniques, sawed joint failures, Poplar Street Bridge, pumping, troubleshooting case histories, hydrodemolition and bridge deck rehab, deicers and protection of concrete, partial depth patching, new concrete pavement distress manual, correlation compressive and flexural strength, quality placement, new FAA concrete paving specifications, and evolution of concrete bridge decks.”

Certificates that will allow delegates to document personal development hours will be provided.
