The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) has announced the recipients of its Excellence in Community Relations Awards. The program recognises aggregate producers who have improved the public perception of their local operation and the industry through community outreach, partnerships and media coverage.
Excellence in Community Relations Gold Award Recipients and their facilities include Oldcastle’s Silver Spring Quarry, Martin Marietta’s Ames Mine, OldCastle’s Stoneco Maybee, Martin Marietta’s Chico Quarry, LafargeHolcim’s Stringtown Quarry, Martin Martietta’s Forsyth Quarry and Oldcastle’s Mt. Holly Quarry.
These recipients make up the top 10% of facilities that received the highest score from a panel of selected industry judges. The winners are eligible for the Excellence in Community Relations Platinum award.

The platinum award recipient will be announced at the upcoming NSSGA Annual Convention in Houston on March 4, 2018, from 4 – 6 p.m.
