Patten Cat has launched the Cat Detect which is designed with the intention of sending an alert that cuts through noise caused by engines, generators and cell phone to protect ground workers from equipment backing incidents. It aims to reduce costs associated with jobsite incidents and accidents, including lost personnel time, equipment damage and lost production.
Additionally, some technologies enable event reporting and recording for use in training and safety improvement programs.
Cat Detect includes hardware components such as cameras, sensors and displays that work with onboard software.
