Shale Support says its new logistics hub and frac-sand storage facility in Louisiana will allow it to truck sand from Kinder and Baywood into Grand Cane. The transaction is intended to support the growth in the Haynesville Shale Play.
Kevin Bowen, co-founder and CEO, says: “Acquiring the Grand Cane facility is a direct result of Shale Support’s recent purchase of two natural sand mines in Louisiana.”
The facility comes with 10,000 tonnes of on-site storage and has access to nearby highways.
Shale mines a frac-sand called Delta Pearl from properties located in Picayune, Mississippi, Kinder, Louisiana, and Baywood.
