Techniseal, a division of concrete products manufacturer Oldcastle APG, has developed a hand sanitiser to help keep aggregates professionals safe during the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The company says that the sanitiser is manufactured according to the US Food and Drug Administration regulations and complies with the World Health Organisation's (WHO) recommended guidelines for handrub formulas.
The sanitiser formula has been designed to safeguard essential workers against the risk of contamination.
According to Techniseal, each five-gallon box has a built-in lockable dispenser, allowing for easy use at sanitary checkpoints, or for mess-free filling and refilling of smaller-scale containers.
The antiseptic formula rids hands of germs, bacteria and viruses in the workplace and public spaces, the company adds.
Sylvain Dulude, vice president at Techniseal, says: “During this time, the pandemic has brought on many challenges for manufacturers and the supply chain.
"Demand for hand sanitisers continues to grow, and we recognize the need to keep our own employees and other trade professionals healthy and safe while on the job.”
The hand sanitiser was first distributed to Oldcastle facilities across the US and Canada.
Techniseal also manufactures products for the cleaning and protection of concrete pavers.
