Terex appoints RDM Equipment Sales & Rentals dealer in British Columbia

November 14, 2018

Terex Trucks has named RDM Equipment Sales & Rentals as its dealer in British Columbia, Canada, to help strengthen its presence in the region.

RDM now sells, rents, services and provides parts for the Terex TA300 and TA400 articulated haulers from its headquarters in Surrey, British Colombia.

The recently upgraded TA300 – which is expected to haul 28 tonnes (30.9 tons) and has a heaped capacity of 17.5m³ (22.9yd³) – now comes with the new ZF EP320 transmission. These enhancements help to provide a 5% improvement in fuel efficiency and enhanced productivity and operator comfort.

Terex says the revamped TA300 now features long life transmission fluid, which increases the length of time between oil maintenance intervals from 1,000 to 4,000 hours.

The TA400 is anticipated to hail 38 tonnes and a heaped capacity of 23.3m³ and comes with a Scania DC13 engine.

According to Terex, the articulated hauler is fitted with an Allison HD4560 transmission, high-performance oil and offers up to 6,000 hours between service intervals.

Steve Madsen, president of RDM Equipment Sales and Rentals, says: “The TA300 and TA400 articulated haulers from Terex Trucks fill a much-needed gap in our product line-up and will enable us to become an even stronger dealership. They are good quality products that are perfectly suited to the BC market.”
