Weir has integrated Delta Industrial’s valves manufacturing operations into its facility in St. Louis to help grow both brands, increase production and streamline processes.
Before the integration, Weir’s St. Louis facility manufactured on Lewis pumps and valves.
Weir says it built up a backlog of orders which it had to address while integrating two large brands and multiple product lines.
“We have cleared the backlog and have stringent processes in place to ensure we continue to deliver to our customers around the world on time, without sacrificing on quality,” the company adds.
Additionally, Weir has added a team of 24 valve specialists from around the world.
“From our St. Louis facility, we now have the ability to utilise customer insights to further develop materials technology and expand the product line”, the company concludes.
