Ms Kerr joins Anglo American from Vale where she was director of exploration for the Americas with oversight of all exploration activities from project generation to completion of pre-feasibility studies.
She succeeds Graham Brown, who will assume the role of group head of geosciences on a full-time basis, having led both the Anglo American Exploration and Geosciences Divisions to date.
