Breedon Aggregates CEO joins MPA's board

Simon Vivian, chief executive of Breedon Aggregates, has been appointed to the board of the Mineral Products Association (MPA).

Simon Vivian, chief executive of 894 Breedon Aggregates, has been appointed to the board of the 2897 Mineral Products Association (MPA).

Breedon Aggregates is the largest independent aggregates company in the UK, employing over 800 people in central England, East Anglia, eastern England and Scotland. 

In addition to his current role as chief executive of Breedon Aggregates, he is a previous chairman of the Quarry Products Association and was formerly a director of 1343 Hanson, running its European business, and chief executive of Mowlem.

Breedon Aggregates was created when AIM-listed 899 Marwyn Materials acquired the UK business of the old Ennstone in September 2010.
