Cemex renews environmental agreement

643 Cemex France has underlined its commitment to the environment with the continuation of its cooperation with bird protection agency 3793 Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO) for the eighth year running. Michel Andre, president of Cemex France, and Pierre Boilerman, director of aggregates activities with Cemex signed the deal with LPO president Allain Bougrain-Dubourg at the end of last month.

Under the deal, which was first signed in 2003, the LPO works closely with Cemex’s environmental teams in France to evaluate existing ecosystems and work jointly on efforts to improve biodiversity.
