The move will be made in partnership with Glodon, a digital platform service provider in construction industry headquartered in Beijing, and Interdream Ventures, a venture capital firm that focuses on the digitalisation of construction and decoration industry. The three partners have signed a collaboration agreement to develop synergies to innovate the construction industry.
CEMEX Ventures says it plans to leverage its two partners' locations to build relationships with startups and other corporates.
“This type of alliance between two segments that fit together, is key to finding new successful business models, and operate in the Chinese market,” said Juan Nieto, CEMEX Ventures Asia representative. "Glodon and Interdream Ventures also have a complete vision of the entire value chain and are good partners to drive the construction revolution."
By sharing identified and analysed startups by the three parties, CEMEX Ventures says it will be possible to facilitate the search for and implementation of innovative projects and solutions. It adds that, by strengthening the flow of exchange of new business models, entrepreneurs will have access to a higher number of investors to support their solution.
