Komatsu Covid-19-fighting donations total €100K

The Komatsu group of companies in Europe has made around €100,000 in donations to three organisations to support the fight against the spread of Covid-19.

The donations have been made to The People's Kitchen in the UK, the Italian Red Cross, and Medecins Sans Frontières in other European countries. 

Quarrying and construction machinery supplier Komatsu says it is working to prevent coronavirus infections from spreading, based on the policies of the governments of host countries where it conducts business.

"For us to fulfil our responsibilities of continuing the supply and providing the product support, we undertake production, logistics, service and other operations after implementing thorough countermeasures against infections," the Japanese multinational company said in a statement.
