Arja Talma (chair) and Antti Mäkinen have been elected to the audit committee, while Mikael Lilius (chair), Christer Gardell and Lars Josefsson were elected to the remuneration and HR committee.

The board members also decided to waive their right to the board remuneration that would have been paid for the term of office expiring at the completion of Metso's partial demerger and planned combination with Outotec Oyj.

Raimo Brand has been invited to participate in the meetings of the Metso board of directors as the personnel representative elected by Metso's personnel groups in Finland. He will join the board meetings as an invited expert, and his term of office is the same as the board members' term.
