New general counsel at CEMEX Latam

Eugenio Bernardo K. Barquet Becerra has been appointed as the new general counsel of CEMEX Latam Holdings (CLH). Barquet Becerra, who has 20 years of legal experience, replaces Ana María Gómez Montes. His experience includes more than 17 years at CEMEX group, where he has worked as legal director within CEMEX's global corporate office since 2016, looking at different issues in administrative matters, real estate, energy, supply and litigations. Eugenio Bernardo K. Barquet Becerra has been appointed as the new general counsel of 643 CEMEX Latam Holdings (CLH).

Barquet Becerra, who has 20 years of legal experience, replaces Ana María Gómez Montes. His experience includes more than 17 years at CEMEX group, where he has worked as legal director within CEMEX's global corporate office since 2016, looking at different issues in administrative matters, real estate, energy, supply and litigations.

He holds a law degree from Universidad de Anáhuac in Mexico City, and a master's degree in International Commercial and Environmental Law from the American University in Washington, United States.

CLH is the Latin American operation of CEMEX and provides buildings solutions products and services to customers in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala.
