5932 TowerLight and 5931 DF Ecology, the Italian producers of environmentally focussed construction equipment, have appointed a new dealer for their range of machinery in South Africa.

Johannesburg-based, 642 Pilot Crushtec has been given the responsibility to distribute a wide range of TowerLight and DF Ecology products throughout the region, including the VT8 and VT1 lighting towers and the Dust-fighter dust suppression units.

Dust pollution in pits, mines and on demolition sites, has long been a problem for the industry, especially in hot, dry regions, particularly during the summer months. To help combat this environmental condition, TowerLight/DF Ecology has developed the Dust-fighter range.

Dust-fighters produce a fine mist of water through a series of high-pressure jets with the spray propelled onto the site by a powerful fan, covering a wide area in just a few moments helping to render the area free from unhealthy and hazardous material. TowerLight’s Dust-fighters are either a self-contained unit, with an on-board, super-silenced generator, or powered by a three-phase electric system.

Commenting on this new appointment, Sig. Crepaldi said, “We are delighted to welcome Pilot Crushtec into the TowerLight/DF Ecology network, we are confident that their experience and professionalism will bring rewards for both companies.”
