Paekivitoodete Tehas ("Limestone Factory") has been appointed as the new dealer in Estonia and Latvia for Keestrack crushing and screening equipment.

Two projects from Argentina and Mexico are among the major winners in the 2019 CEMEX-Tec Award competition.

This year the Award recognised 33 sustainable development projects from entrepreneurs and innovators who aim to generate high impact in their communities around the world.

Terex Corporation (Terex), a global manufacturer of building material processing and lifting solutions, has unveiled its new £12mn facility in Campsie, Derry/Londonderry to a reception of over 100 representatives from educational, political and business institutions in the area.

The new 105,000 square foot facility manufactures heavy equipment for Terex Ecotec (waste management and recycling) and mobile conveyors, creating 100 jobs for the local region.

German building materials giant HeidelbergCement says its North American subsidiary, Lehigh Hanson, Inc., has entered into an agreement with Giant Cement, a subsidiary of Elementia S.A.B. de C.V., to acquire its Keystone cement plant in Bath, Pennsylvania, USA.

Building materials giant CRH has appointed Richard Boucher as chairman designate. He will succeed present chairman Nicky Hartery on 1 January 2020.

Hartery, who has been chairman since May 2012 and a board member since 2004, will retire as chairman and from the board on 31 December 2019.
