Cement output in China during November 2014 fell year-on-year by 4% to 219million tonnes. The country's cement production during the first 11 months of 2014 grew 1.9% year-on-year to 2.272 billion tonnes, but the growth rate was 7.35 percentage points slower than the same period of 2013.

According to Russia’s Federal Customs Service, the imports of aggregate to the country reached around 22.509 million tonnes 1 January - 31 October 2014. Some 79.3% of the total were imported from Ukraine. The aggregate import level from this country has not changed for the past few months.
