In an interview with PMV Middle East Asif Khan, division manager of Genavco’s equipment business unit, said he expects to begin selling Terex MPS static crushers later this year.
The static range will complement the mobile quarrying and mining equipment already supplied by Genavco under the Terex-owned
“We have experienced a certain level of recovery in the quarrying and mining segment in the wake of the Expo 2020 announcement,” Khan told PMV Middle East.
“We expect to see continued activity in this market and increased demand over the coming years. With this in mind, we have now lined up a range of stationary crushing equipment,” he said.
“We have almost reached the point of signing the agreement, so I expect these products to be available during the third quarter of this year,” said Khan.
The Terex MPS deal is said to form part of Genavco’s broader strategy to diversify its product range, in order to further guard against fluctuating demand.
As Khan explained, “Having a diversified product range improves a dealer’s ability to adapt. These products help each other. If one is not doing so well, the others can compensate and fill in those gaps. It makes our overall business more robust in the face of market fluctuations.”
