FLSmidth win Petrovietnam contract

FLSmidth has been awarded a contract worth approximately €50 million (DKK 370 million) from the long-term customer Vale for the supply of material handling equipment to the Port of Nacala in Mozambique. The contract comprises delivery of 15 complete conveyor systems, including all mechanical and structural components as well as transfer towers, chutes, magnets, belt scales, a lubrication system, skirts and supports.

FLSmidth is to supply a major greenfield cement plant to a new customer in Morocco.

The Danish mining and cement plant and services specialist together with Société Générale des Travaux du Maroc (SGTM) yesterday signed a contract with TEKCIM S.A. to co-deliver a full cement plant with a capacity of 3,600 tonnes/day. FLSmidth has signed an EP (Engineering and Procurement) contract at a value of approximately DKK 255 million (€34.24 million) with the Vietnamese cement producer Tan Thang Cement Joint Stock Company for the supply of main equipment to a greenfield cement plant in Vietnam. The plant will be located in the Nghe An province, approximately 300km south of the capital Hanoi.
