Oman Cement makes OMR 9.90mn pre-tax profit in first 2014 half

Oman Cement has recorded a 40% drop in its net profit in the January to June 2015 period from OMR 9.09million (€21.23million US$23.62million) in the same period in 2014, to OMR 5.44million. Construction materials supplier Breedon Group increased pre-tax profits by 30% year-on-year in the first half of 2019.

Announcing its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2019, the Great Britain and Ireland-based group said that an improved performance had been delivered across its business. Profit before tax in H1 2019 reached £39.5m, up from £30.4m in the first half of 2018.

Oman's cement manufacturing company, Oman Cement has garnered OMR 15.94 million (€38.91 million/US$41.42 million) in revenues in the January-March 2015 period, noting a year-on-year increase of 10.6%.

Its net profit also followed similar upward trend during the quarter under review, with an increase of 3.7% to reach OMR 3.83 million.
