Bulgaria’s Devnya Cement's new plant is rolled out with €160million investment

Devnya Cement, the Bulgarian subsidiary of Italian cement manufacturer Italcementi, has launched a new production facility. The operation requested an investment of over €160 million (US$204.87 million), improving the capacity of the plant to 1.5million tonnes/year. The unit will be fully operational at the beginning of 2015. With this operation the group completes the strategic investment programme to strengthen its activity in Europe.

3122 Devnya Cement, the Bulgarian subsidiary of Italian cement manufacturer 726 Italcementi, has launched a new production facility.

The operation requested an investment of over €160 million (US$204.87 million), improving the capacity of the plant to 1.5million tonnes/year.

The unit will be fully operational at the beginning of 2015. With this operation the group completes the strategic investment programme to strengthen its activity in Europe.
