The deal was struck after Cumbrian-based dealer Taylor & Braithwaite demonstrated the capabilities of the 516 Scalper during a three-day working demonstration event at L&W Wilson’s quarry site.
The heavy duty Scalper remains at Roan Edge Quarry, where it has already been put to work alongside L&W Wilson’s fleet of other construction machines. The Scalper will be used to screen a wide variety of materials and its end use will be used in aggregates and topsoil.
Speaking about why L&W Wilson chose the Maximus 516 Vibrating Scalper Alan Wilson, MD of L&W Wilson, said it was due to “competitive costs, excellent machine capabilities and the knowledge of Taylor & Braithwaite’s staff.”
L&W Wilson is a family run business that has been established over 40 years. The business has successfully grown and is now a well-respected and reliable firm, supplying various construction services including civil engineering, recycling facilities, demolition and plant hire.
