Filling what was a gap in XCMG’s large excavator range, the new XE3000C will be used mainly in large-scale surface mining applications, huge infrastructure construction, marine reclamation, land construction and other large-scale construction projects.
With its 285tonne operating weight, XCMG says its super-tonnage excavator is a perfect match with its mining truck series. It includes more than 30 XCMG patents, including eight for invention. The XE3000C is said to use an advanced German hydraulic system, with the interchange design of its face and backhoe shovels, with 15-18m³ bucket capacity, said to make the machine adaptable to more complex working conditions. XCMG also says the performance of the XE3000C model’s 1193kW engine has reached an ’advanced international level’.
