FLSmidth receives order from Morocco

FLSmidth has received a contract worth approximately €30 million (DKK 223million) from the Moroccan phosphate and fertiliser producer Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) for the supply of material handling equipment to a port facility and mine site in Morocco. The order covers supply of equipment, supervision of erection as well as commissioning. 7451 FLSmidth has received a contract worth approximately €30 million (DKK 223million) from the Moroccan phosphate and fertiliser producer Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) for the supply of material handling equipment to a port facility and mine site in Morocco.

The order covers supply of equipment, supervision of erection as well as commissioning.

The equipment to be supplied includes three bucket wheel reclaimers, each with a capacity of 2,000tonnes/hour; two stackers with a capacity of 2,000tonnes/hour; two stackers with a capacity of 1,000tonnes/hour, and associated yard conveyors.  

"Office Chérifien des Phosphates is experiencing an increase in fertiliser demands and thereby a need for capacity expansion. The group is a well-known customer to FLSmidth and we are very happy that they have chosen to place this order with us,” says Manfred Schaffer, group executive vice president of the Minerals Division.
