The new equipment will be delivered throughout 2015, with each unit benefitting from the Finsight equipment monitoring solution, helping to optimise machine health and productivity. Flannery customers will also be able to benefit from the advanced fuel efficiency of the new fleet and the range of attachments available for the telehandlers.
The Flannery fleet deal comprises a variety of Cat mini, medium and large hydraulic excavators, the new general construction telehandlers, 730C and 740B articulated dump trucks, and D6T and D6N dozers. Cat Finance has also been utilised by Flannery as part of the package, along with three year/6,000 hour warranty and service support on a number of the machines.
Of the deal, Flannery director Patrick Flannery said: “This latest deal with Finning is the first time we have invested in Caterpillar general construction telehandlers. We have seen increased demand in the Cat TH414 model category in particular, as the market picks up. In addition we have also seen demand for dozers coming back and being the first company to offer the Cat D6N for hire will be a real asset to our business.
“We are definitely seeing customers far more focused on fuel burn and productivity. This is why within this deal we looked to combine the new equipment with the backup of the Finning Finsight engineering team that will be monitoring our units, no matter where they are in the UK.

Finning’s sales representative for the south east, Matt Revell, said: “Flannery is a well-known player in the plant hire market, with a very large and diverse fleet. With this deal, we have broken into its telehandler fleet offering for the first time. This is vital to us, as more customers are going to be exposed to these types of machines.
