H+H appoints new director

Denmark-based aircrete producer H+H International has announced that it has appointed Michael Troensgaard Andersen as its new managing director. Andersen, who joins the company from Trelleborg, will take over the role from Hans Gormsen on 4 April this year.

H+H of Denmark’s Q1 2012 turnover rise

Danish aircrete producer H+H boosted turnover to €39.96million (DKK 297mn) in Q1 2012, compared to €37.27million (DKK 277mn) in the same three-month period of 2011.
The firm’s EBITDA was a loss of €269,113 (DKK 2mn) compared with a loss of €1.34million (DKK 10mn) in Q1 2011. The figure before tax in Q1 2012 was a €4.84million (DKK 36mn) loss compared with a €6.19million (DKK 46mn) loss between 1 January and 31 March 2011.

New head of Sandvik Construction in India

Sandvik Asia has appointed Harinder Jit Singh as its new vice president for Sandvik Construction sales area India.

A Sandvik employee since 1989, latterly filling the role of business line manager for tunnelling, Singh has a wealth of experience of Sandivk’s many different products lines and areas of expertise. Sandvik Asia says that in his new role, Singh will draw on his strong people management skills, and an in-depth understanding of the construction industry within India.
