Vietnam: PM’s go-ahead for limestone mines for cement project

Work at eight limestone mines in Vietnam's northern province of Ha Nam for the Thanh Thang Cement Project received the approval of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. The project has a capacity of producing 2.3 million tonnes/year. The eight mines are in various communes in Thanh Liem District, with areas ranging between 46.6hectares and 151.3hectares, and their operationwill start in 2018.
