Nigeria’s Ogun State partners Lafarge on green initiative

Nigeria’s Ogun State government is teaming up with cement manufacturer Lafarge Africa to develop state-wide solutions for waste management. A working committee will be established as part of the effort to develop solutions for managing various wastes in Ogun. The parties will also establish a transparent and sustainable legacy on renewable energy. The planned forest restoration initiative by the two bodies is aimed at addressing environmental concerns.
