Siam Cement Group (SCG) of Thailand has increased the number of production lines at its cement factory in Kampot, Cambodia to two with an investment of US$120 million (€103.45 million).
Following the commissioning of the new line, the annual output capacity of the Kampot factory has been raised to 2 million tonnes.
In the meantime, SCG is reported as saying it plans to spend in the range of US$200 million-US$300 million to expand the presence of its construction material brands in Cambodia.

6606 Siam Cement Group (SCG) of Thailand has increased the number of production lines at its cement factory in Kampot, Cambodia to two with an investment of US$120 million (€103.45 million).
Following the commissioning of the new line, the annual output capacity of the Kampot factory has been raised to 2 million tonnes.
In the meantime, SCG is reported as saying it plans to spend in the range of US$200 million-US$300 million to expand the presence of its construction material brands in Cambodia.
The expansion plan, which will be carried out from 2016-2020, includes set-up of additional ready-mix concrete factories and the installation of a third production line at the Kampot factory.
