Chicago Pneumatic’s new Red Hawk motor drills and breakers

5517 Chicago Pneumatic has unveiled its Red Hawk range of motor drills and breakers. With three options available, the new range is suitable for roads, railways and drilling applications, providing users with a range of rugged and reliable tools. “The Red Hawk range introduces new compact and portable solutions to CP’s portfolio of handheld pneumatic equipment, which are suitable for applications where users change location frequently,” said Gus Armbruster, spokesperson for handheld tools at Chicago Pneumatic. “Equipped with a petrol powered engine, instead of a conventional hose or power cable, the Red Hawk range provides users with the versatility and manoeuvrability ideal for busy or remote locations.”

The Red Hawk Road is the most powerful breaker in the new range offering high impact energy and weighing only 22kg. Ideal for concrete and asphalt breaking and cutting, enough impact energy is said to be delivered to handle silica-rich rocks and reinforced concrete. An additional tamping shank allows users to repair potholes and surface damage, making the Red Hawk Road ideal for infrastructure applications.

The Red Hawk Drill, offering a combined drill and breaker, is well suited to light service applications such as rock splitting, fencing work and digging into hard or frozen ground. With a range of different working tools, from cutting, to breaking and driving, the Red Hawk Drill is a universal tool that offers users working in remote locations a suitable alternative to existing drills and breakers. With 11 shank options and a trolley or carrying harness, Chicago Pneumatic has a range of accessories designed to make the Red Hawk range as versatile as possible.
