Works to construct a new cement plant in El-Beidha, Algeria, are expected to last 32 months and requires over DZD 35 billion (€301.10 million/US$327 million) in investments.
Once operational, it will have a daily output of 6,000tonnes of cement, representing over 2 million tonnes/year.
Production will cover domestic needs and the growing cement demand, which is due to the number of construction programmes.
