Unevol to be first Sandvik Construction dealer in Cuba

Unevol is to be Sandvik Construction’s first distributor for drill rigs, rock tools and crushing and screening equipment throughout Cuba. The company, an established name throughout Cuba, with offices, workshops and service engineers throughout the area, will supply a comprehensive range of Sandvik equipment, and will also be providing full aftermarket care, spare parts and dedicated customer service.

Unevol is to be 460 Sandvik Construction’s first distributor for drill rigs, rock tools and crushing and screening equipment throughout Cuba.

The company, an established name throughout Cuba, with offices, workshops and service engineers throughout the area, will supply a comprehensive range of Sandvik equipment, and will also be providing full aftermarket care, spare parts and dedicated customer service.

Sandvik says that the appointment of such a professional and experienced distributor reinforces its “commitment in providing even greater levels of customer care, and further enhances our commitment to enhanced locally-focused customer support, while at the same time allowing customers to benefit from dealing with a truly global company.”

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in La Lisa, La Habana, Unevol has been selling and servicing 670 Volvo Penta and Volvo Construction products since 1998 and 2000 respectively. The company serves an important mix of state and private sector enterprises on the island, and has 126 employees, possessing branches in Holguin and Moa as well as four workshops which support its operations from three locations.

“Becoming a Sandvik Construction distributor is an important development of our company. With Sandvik’s portfolio of products, Unevo will now be able to provide drilling, crushing and screening equipment and consumables to our existing customers,” says Per Hundevad, general manager of Unevol.
