Egypt’s IDA to issue cement licences

The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) in Egypt will issue licences for setting up cement factories in El-Wadi el-Gedid, Beni Suef, Qena, South Sinai, Aswan, Sohag, Minya, Marsa Matrouh and Suez governorates in Egypt. The bids deadline have been set on 10 May, 2016. So far, a total of 37 companies have applied for the coal-fired cement plants' licenses. The plants will have capacities of 2 million tonnes/year.

The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) in Egypt will issue licences for setting up cement factories in El-Wadi el-Gedid, Beni Suef, Qena, South Sinai, Aswan, Sohag, Minya, Marsa Matrouh and Suez governorates in Egypt.

The bids deadline have been set on 10 May, 2016.

So far, a total of 37 companies have applied for the coal-fired cement plants' licenses. The plants will have capacities of 2 million tonnes/year.
