3702 CDE Global returns to Hillhead where it will launch the latest developments to its modular M-Series washing plant range.

Launched at bauma 2010, the M2500 is said to offer a compact footprint; efficient transfer of materials from one processing phase to another, and the use of clean, electric power. The range has since been expanded and currently the M2500 has been installed in plants in the quarrying, mining and C&D waste recycling sectors worldwide.

The model on display, the M2500 E5X, has been developed to produce up to five washed and classified products. Other developments include a refined chassis design to allow for rapid installation; easy transportation and minimal civils requirements. The 900mm wide walkways are said to allow for safe and easy access to all parts of the plant, and lightweight GRP guards e easy for one person to remove and replace for efficient maintenance and inspection.

“The M2500 ESX is the output of a three year R&D cycle. The M2500 is one of our core products which is very well established in the UK and Ireland, with applications processing sand and gravel and recycling construction & demolition waste,” says Matt Bunting, Director of Business Development UK & Ireland.

This model also incorporates the patented Infinity screening technology on both the P-Line inclined sizing screen and D-Line dewatering screen. The company says the screens include patented Trilogy side wall construction which eliminates the need for welds, ensuring maximum equipment life and also removes unnecessary weight for reduced power consumption.

The P-Line screen on the M2500 uses the CDE VibroCentric drive system which removes unnecessary weight delivering a higher power to weight ratio. The D-Line dewatering screen utilises the innovative VibroSync motor bridge which ensures an even distribution of power across the full screening area for superior performance.
