Luca Sabelli (Chairman), Dominik von Achten (Executive Vice President), Lorenz Näger (Executive Vice President) and Roberto Callieri (CEO) were appointed as the new Italcementi Board of Directors during a shareholder meeting on Wednesday 19 October. This follows HeidlebergCement’s securing of 100% of Italcementi capital a week earlier.
HeidelbergCement is one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of building materials with leading market positions in aggregates, cement, and ready-mixed concrete. Following the acquisition of Italcementi, the company employs some 63,000 people at more than 3,000 locations in around 60 countries.
