7044 CNH Industrial – whose brands include 394 CASE Construction Equipment - is continuing its significant efforts to support earthquake-stricken central Italy.

After several powerful earthquakes in recent months, and with earthquake threats persisting in the region, the Company had already supplied the Italian Fire Service with more than 25 vehicles and machines, including excavators, minibuses and generator sets. Now, the Italian Red Cross has also been presented with a cheque for US$150,000 (€138,100), half of which was donated by employees and the other half matched by CNH Industrial.

Case Construction Equipment (CNH Industrial's construction equipment brand) had previously loaned 19 vehicles to the Cittareale (Rieti) and Ascoli Piceno fire services, including crawler excavators, mini excavators, wheeled loaders and skid-steer loaders.

Major contributions have also arrived from CNH Industrial’s other brands. 3693 FPT Industrial (powertrain) has provided seven generator sets; 3691 Iveco Bus has delivered three minibuses; and Iveco and Iveco Astra have supplied several heavy goods vehicles (including dump trucks) to assist with possible future needs. Furthermore, 452 New Holland Agriculture has auctioned a tractor, donating the €31,000 proceeds to the Italian Red Cross.

Acting again through the Red Cross, CNH Industrial has set up an internal fundraising channel. Employees in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and NAFTA (North America) regions, with the contribution of the CNH Industrial Foundation, donated $75,000 (€69,000), a figure that was subsequently matched by the company to make a total donation of $150,000.
