Telestack’s Titan T1600-8 feeder

Telestack says it has developed the largest mobile bulk reception feeder in the international market. The company used the latest sophisticated modelling software and a team of ports and inland terminal experts to design and produce the Titan T1600-8 bulk reception unit. 466 Telestack says it has developed the largest mobile bulk reception feeder in the international market.

The company used the latest sophisticated modelling software and a team of ports and inland terminal experts to design and produce the Titan T1600-8 bulk reception unit. It has the ability to handle throughput rates of up to 1,800tonnes/hour and to receive a payload from a Cat 777 off-highway rigid haul truck.

The end user, a significant producer of construction aggregates, required a unit for barge loading to eliminate double handling of material, and thus reduce costs and loading times, and offer a higher quality of product due to the reduction of material handling time and methods.

The Titan T1600-8 is a track-mounted, fully mobile conveyor, and like other units in the Titan range, is designed to be loaded directly from trucks, wheeled loaders, grab cranes and excavators.

The 115tonnes unit, which is 35m long, 8m high, and which has a 3m feeder belt, can receive up to 60m³ of material.

“This is an important reference project for Telestack as it demonstrates clearly the experience behind the Telestack equipment,” says Malachy Gribben, commercial director with Telestack.
