With MINIMIX, SBM says it can offer a compact mobile concrete mixing plant with class-leading quality and profitability. The Austrian firm, based in Oberweis, says the MINIMIX also comes with a hardened concrete output capacity of 50m3/h, which the company claims is unsurpassed by other model types. The plant is also said to work successfully even if very small quantities of concrete are produced.
SBM says MINIMIX can be set up directly on-site and delivers the concrete to the construction crane, the concrete pump or the truck mixer without requiring any intermediate steps, optimising working processes. This is said to result in considerably reduced lorry traffic and just-in-time concrete production. Another advantage lies in the fact that the plant offers a claimed 12% more storage for aggregates and a claimed 50 % more storage for cement.
MINIMIX offers, says SBM, considerably lower freight costs due to its ready-for-operation modules and accessories optimised for transport. The plant’s declared very short on-site assembly time of three hours also reduces running costs.
MINIMIX can be installed on the construction site with only one crane, and can be operated unmanned via its remote control function.
