As a general contractor, the steelworks company Mostostal Kraków, has entrusted 390 BEUMER Group with the delivery of four high-capacity belt bucket elevators for the 8161 LafargeHolcim cement plant in Kujawy, Poland.

These systems are part of a project to improve the production and the quality of cement blends.

Mostostal Kraków will provide LafargeHolcim with cement silos as well as the corresponding conveying technology.

The high-capacity belt bucket elevators of BEUMER Group with centre distances of up to 50m enable a conveying capacity of 350tonnes/hour, which is ensured by the special belt design of the BEUMER steel wire belts.

At BEUMER Group, the Centre of Competence (CoC) for the cement industry is responsible for the project.

The CoC enables the single-source provider to supply suitable systems at a constant high quality level worldwide, and it was able to implement the specific design criteria precisely.

With a local BEUMER Group company office in Poland, Mostostal Kraków and LafargeHolcim BEUMER says they have “a competent partner on site.”

The systems will go into operation at the end of 2017.
