Volvo has announced that it is relocating its motorgrader production from Goderich in Ontario, Canada to the company's site in Pennsylvania, US by 2010. The move is part of plans to consolidate its road machinery business in North America to improve competitiveness and profitability. The move will affect 500 employees but will be phased but the US$45million restructuring costs will be recorded in the third quarter 2008 accounts.
