Cemex obtains ISO 14001 certificates for 110 sites

Cement group Cemex is continuing to obtain ISO 14001 environmental certification for its various French sites, with an additional 110 sites certified in 2012. Some 183 Cemex sites comply with the ISO 14001 standard in total, or 53% of its sites, which include aggregate quarries, production units for ready-to-use concrete, ports, administrative headquarters and equipment depots. Cemex's aggregate activity is fully certified, and the group is aiming to have 100% of its sites certified by the end of 2014.

Cement group 643 Cemex is continuing to obtain ISO 14001 environmental certification for its various French sites, with an additional 110 sites certified in 2012.

Some 183 Cemex sites comply with the ISO 14001 standard in total, or 53% of its sites, which include aggregate quarries, production units for ready-to-use concrete, ports, administrative headquarters and equipment depots.

Cemex's aggregate activity is fully certified, and the group is aiming to have 100% of its sites certified by the end of 2014.
